I could not get rid of that screen for anything- I couldn't x out of it, I couldn't right click and end it, using the task manager to end it didn't get rid of it- I had to turn my system off to end it. But about 1/3 of the way through, it stopped uninstalling it.
When I try to delete this file, it starts as normally- it takes me to the uninstall screen and pulls up the little bar that shows it's progress. It let me delete most of it, except one file: Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007. So, I decided to try and delete all my Microsoft Office stuff to try and fix the problem, since I don't use it anyway. Which started ok- but then it reached that same OFFICE/BULLETS file and got stuck again. Then it asked me to restart and let Avast do another scan of my system. I tried a quick scan, which worked- but when it took me to a screen of what the scan had found, that file was on the list, and labeled as something along the lines of "Failed". And while it was sitting on this file specifically, doing anything else while the scan was running was pretty much impossible. My virus scanner would then sit on this file pretty much indefinitely. As I was scanning, it got to about %10 until it reached a file titled:Ĭ:\Program Files\MicrosoftOffice\MEDIA\OFFICE\2\BULLETS\BD10298_.GIF
My computer was acting slowly today, so I decided to run a full system scan on it. I have no way of telling as I am not very knowledgeable about those kinds of things. Ok so for starters- I don't know if this is a trojan, a virus, or malware.
